Why do most guys use and act rude toward a good woman?

There was a guy I used to work with that I had a crush on. He would one day talk/flirt and act silly with me, then act rude another day. Years later, I had moved on to a different guy. Seems like he was just using me and acting rude as well. What is wrong with these guys nowadays? I try to show nothing but kindness towards someone who may or may not be broken from past issues. Why direct rudeness towards someone who has done nothing wrong?

Men can be rude to good women because they are insecure of feel threatend. Can can envy you or even get jealous.
