I noticed that there are many women irl and online that think dying their hair blondes will make them better looking, which is weird for me cause almost all the guys I met, had a crush over brunette celebrities. I actually wish it was true, cause I have natural light blonde hair and blue eyes, and most of my girl friends keep telling me how lucky I am, because men prefer that combo, I thought at first it was true, but I had a crush on two guys, the first one preferred a brunette over me, and the second, broke my heart when he sent me some pics of sssniperwolf, by saying how he would die to touch her. My friend is also a dark eyed brunette who told me that she wish she had my eye and hair color, yet men seem to flirt with her more. I talked about it with my brother too, and he told me that it was probably a myth perpetrated by Hollywood in the 50’s. What do you think?
I never really been into blonde women. Yet my hair is blonde, and I love that, haha. And at the same time, I feel like it’s a setback for me WITH women, like I’d always hear about “tall, dark, and handsome” being ideal for men. I’m tall at least, the handsome thing is at least arguable lmao, but I am definitely not dark in either hair or skin tone. Some women have really made a big deal out of me and of me being blonde, others, I feel like they wouldn’t give me the time of day, and I’d later see them paired off with a guy with darker features. So it doesn’t seem to work the opposite way with the same success, lmao. Yet I do notice that a lot of guys are very drawn to blonde women, yet when you see her face, she might not even be that remarkably pretty, but I feel like the whole aura of the blonde hair distracts a lot of guys. But I’m the opposite. Take someone like Rachel McAdams. She’s pretty objectively attractive. I’ve seen her in different movies with different hair colors. In Mean Girls, she’s blonde, and she doesn’t do it for me at all. I think in The Notebook her hair was more reddish, maybe strawberry blonde, and still, I wasn’t overly impressed. Wedding Crashers? As a brunette? MY WORD. Man-swooning over here, just one of the great beauties of my generation. There have been exceptions, I used to love Christina Applegate and Jenny McCarthy back in the 90s, and I’m sure I can come up with a bunch of hot blonde chicks if I had to, and I’ve definitely dated some blonde women who I was plenty attracted to. But overall, blonde hair just doesn’t “wow” me, maybe because I have it myself so there’s nothing special to it. So I wouldn’t put too much stock in it, there are plenty of guys who prefer brunettes or redheads or girls with black hair, and at the end of the day, I don’t think it’s a deal-breaker or deal-sealer for most guys.

I think Rachel McAdams was gorgeous In mean girls, but I prefer her dumb friend Karen cause she was prettier lmao. But you remind me of my brother, he also have blond hair and blue eyes, plus of being tall, but he’s mostly attracted to short thicc brunettes, ( doesn’t mean he doesn’t find blonde hots) but when I introduced him to my friends, he was only flirting with my short middle Latina friend , while ignoring my blonde friend even tho she was hardly into him, as well. But it’s not a rule cause I thought there was a study saying that blue eyed men, prefer blue eyed men, yet a blue eyed man still preferred a woman with brown eyes over me, so my experience kind of debunked it 😐
Haha, that Gretchen girl was the showstopper for for me, and that’s the one time I was blown away by Lindsay Lohan, to be honest, I’m not usually impressed by her (she got pretty cracked out though😂), but I thought she looked great in that movie. The dumb girl was cute too, but I think that’s just me with blondes again, she and Rachel McAdams didn’t grab me in the same way. And yeah, sounds like your brother is like me in his predominant “type”, and my girlfriend (and last three, really, lmao) is/were Latina. As far as the specific guy with you, I don’t know, it could be any number of things, but case in point, preference only carries you so far, sometimes you just are drawn to who you’re drawn to. I’ve definitely been on both ends of that more than a few times, haha. I’m also wondering now that I’m thinking about it, if/how it would factor in that maybe blonde women are less impressed by my blonde hair, so maybe subconsciously I’m like “well I don’t like you either, so there!” lmao. Because the women who made a big deal of my hair were never the blonde girls I dated, they just seemed to like other attributes about me but never really focused on my hair color. The girls who were like “oh my god, I love your blonde hair” had brown or black hair, as I recall. I think the problem is also because women are constantly told that they’re not pretty enough, and that their beauty play a crucial role in their love life. It’s sad but true. I know so many girls that believe no man will love them, unless they look like a Barbie doll, or real life photoshopped insta model, which is why so many women have body dysmorphia. The princesses like in Disney, were always sending us the message, that you must be just like Snow White, Cinderella or belle, aka the prettiest girl of the town, to deserve love from a man. I know it’s fucked up, lol. We’ve been brainwashed. I also felt extremely self conscious when a guy I liked said he found redheads sexy, I knew it didn’t meant that he would only date redheads, but my mind was always floated with the idea that he will leave me for a redhead the second where the occasion shows up, and that he only settled for me. So your girlfriend maybe felt that you only dated her because you settled, and that you were secretly craving a blonde, and that the second where a blonde give you attention you will leave her , which is so sad.
Yea I honestly felt horrible that she went that route trying to please me because that wasn’t the case what so ever , yes society and social media has brainwashed a lot of people to believe you have to be a certain way to be accepted and it’s so messed up that people allow it to control them , it’s a sad world we live in that people are judged and criticized for who they are , if people actually put their phones down and looked around them they will realize social media is the biggest bullshit there is , it’s a money making scam , this world thrives off of a money and power they don’t give 2 shits on how it effects people’s lives all they care about is how they are going to get into your wallet. I remember reading one study about sexual attraction, and it seemed like in countries in which most women are blonde, brunettes are seen sexier and vice versa. In my country most girls are brunette and I noticed the popular girl in the class was blonde and the blonde girl in the group of friends gets hit on more and so.
There was another experiment in which a brunette, a redhair and a blonde would hitch-hike. The blonde would always get more cars to stop. For whatever reason guys hit on more blondes.
I remember also a college friend that was brunette but was dyed blonde, then returned to brunette. She said that guys would flirt more with her blonde version.
However I suppose all that attention is not always the type of attention one wants to attract. But maybe some brunettes want that attention so that's why the dye blonde.
Anyways, I'd say blondes are as attractive as brunettes in general. Each guys might have their preference but if a girl looks hot in their eyes, her hair color couldn't care less.
Also, when you see famous people with brunettes, don't think it's because brunette are liked more, just remember that there are more brunette people in the planet than other hair colors, and so, there are more chances to find a partner that has an average hair color than a rare one.
I dyed it blonde mostly because I felt like I could use other dyes over it whenever I felt like it. Also I felt like blonde looked better with my skin complexion, even though it is a son of a bitch to maintain the colour. However, I have done many changes to my hair. From blonde I dyed it blue, then purple and now it is red.
Blonde hair blue eyes turns everybody's head because they are rare and lighter features. That combo itself is enough to make a girl attractive even if she doesn't have good facial fetaures. The reason guys might not come after you might be because you seem out of their league. That makes some guy to not pursue you. I have seen a question here where a user asked,"How to get over the fact all men prefer blondes?". She even said 3 husbands left their brunette wives for blonde women. So every guy has his own preference and you being blonde with blue eyes will never be a deal breaker. Also i think that guy liked Sniper Wolf's body more than her hair
Tbh I went through a phase of dying my hair blonde because I thought it was better than my original hair colour which is brunette. But since then I became more confident in myself and haven’t died my hair since. I think it’s caused by the stereotype that guys prefer blondes which is a complete joke

This is just a myth tbh. Asian men are rated as the less wanted race of men, while I would die to have an Asian boyfriend cause they’re extremely hot and cute in my opinion.
My guess would be they think guys will like it better. Those are celebrities but in real life, there are many guys who like blonde girls. Probably other girls have seen/heard about it. Anyway guys are inconsistent. When they are with a blonde girl, they will flirt with other brunettes. When they are with a brunette, they will try to catch the blond chick. They just don’t have one specific preference and don’t know what they actually want. I don’t let myself being controlled by their preference. Women need to be happy and comfortable with how we look.
I’ve never been into blonde girls either. If a girl is cute I don’t care what her hair color is to be honest.
But I’ve seen a lot of girls with brownish hair, thick beautiful hair with tons of different shades of colors in it.
A lot of blonde girls I’ve seen have thin wispy hair with very little volume to it. It lays flat and lank on their head and it’s just not as cute as these brunette type girls with voluminous flowing beautiful hair.
Of course if a blonde girl has that type of hair that would be hot too. But I rarely see it. Most blondes have thin perfectly straight boring hair lol. Sorry that’s just t experience with them.
Color TVs were not common place until the 1960s. In black and white film, blond hair had more character/texture/contrast. Thus they were often bigger movie stars with more screen presence. Thus women thought they were more attractive because they were famous… Same shit girls do with celebrities today even when many of the celebrities are not attractive. Brunettes are way hotter.

For some strange reason I really prefer brown hair over blonde. I do believe there are a lot of men who are more into blonde hair. I think for the majority of men hair color is also not really that important for me at least inner values are more important than looks.

Well, tbh I'd be fine with dating either a blonde or a brunette. Your eyes and hair colour seem extra attractive cuz they're my favourite ones. A lot of guys might think that you're out of their league or you already have a boyfriend. Many of them won't have the guys to ask you out. Blonde is the sexiest hair colour though. Well I’d like a man to think that I’m his type, but forever cause it seems that I only attract fuckboys or men that wants a one night stand, while my brunette friends don’t struggle to get a hot guy to settle with them, and I noticed that with famous men, like George Clooney, Matt Damon, and Neymar, and many others. It’s like they subconsciously view us as forever girlfriends 😔

Probably a lot of celebrities hace or had blonde hair and many women love the way it looks. As women get older they go for blonde hair even more cause it helps hide gray hair new growth and blends in better with light hair colors like blonde. I see it all the time abd most women walking into a salon for hair color are coming in for some variation of blonde or silver.
However blonde is not always better. Your hair color and style should emphasize or hide facial features as you desire. Sometimes blonde just doesn't go well with your skin tone.

If you’re fair there’s very little you can do to make yourself look like a hot brunette. Generally the attractiveness of brunettes includes the olive skin tone and dark eyes that are hard to fake. May as well become the type of white blonde that only little girls are. If there’s one thing men love almost as much as latinas it’s little girls.
People associate blonde hair with youth and stuff, and it's usually considered attractive? I'm naturally blonde and I tend to think natural hair color looks better, prefer dark though, it's kinda mysterious and compliments different facial features. Just depends on the skintone and stuff.
Blonde hair is fascinating because it's uncommon. I am a brunette, blonde hair gives me more attention and highlights my features. Maybe natural blondes don't have luck, but us fake ones juice the hell out of it. Marylin is the most famous blonde and she's not even a natural blonde.

Well, as a male, I can confidently answer that "Blonde is Best!". It kinda parallels the Japanese saying that "Women are like rice: the whiter the better.". Blonde hair tends to complement "white" skin and blue eyes (yup, blue is best). This has been the preferred mix by males throughout history.
I used to die over redheads, but now i do die over blue eyed blondes, redheads are left just in my filthy dreams. Brunettes are fine, I mean, wishes are wishes, if I get to somehow miraculously date someone then the hair wouldn't matter much as the relationship is more important

Women are simply convinced men prefer blondes when that's not really the case. All the men that I know like blondes, sure, but they also like brunettes. Back when I was younger guys preferred blondes more because of the ditsy, space cadet attitude that the blondes had. They thought it was cute. As they aged though, they preferred brunettes.
I don't have celebrity crushes, that's one group of people I generalize as lousy folk whom I want nothing to do with. I have no idea why women dye their hair blond though. It's not a thing for me. I can find attractive women of any hair color, skin color, eye color. It just depends on the whole presentation. And some women do look good as blonds even if they are not that naturally. This is extremely subjective. I don't care about hair color. That's all I know for sure.
Let's be honest a lot of people get blonde streaks etc... blonde is a light colour that shows a person hair etc.. but overall hair colour I have 0 preference but a lot of hot women i know have either brunette, red, blonde, black hair, and with blonde streaks that is hot

I really don’t pay much attention to hair colour. My mums a natural blonde. I’m a brunette. I think hair colour (and type) can be an attractive novelty when it isn’t usual to your ethnicity.
