Why would a guy ask me randomly if im a good kisser?

I was talking to a guy online who i haven't seen in years and he said he wanted to take me out sometime, and then right after that he asked if im a good kisser. Is he just trying to get in my pants or did he ask out of curiosity?

Argh, I'm getting second hand frustration from this.

We do NOT know, no one here knows. Any answer you're going to get is going to be a "He might" or "Maybe". We do not know his motives, and can't determine whether he's trying to get in your pants or if he's just curious.

However, it would seem LIKELY that he is 1. curious, because who asks a question if they aren't curious? And 2. some level of interested, because the question is quite intimate and it builds some sort of sexual tension.

As a guy speaking, I'd say it was a clumsy effort to let you know that he has feelings for you and is probing to see see if you still have warm feelings about him. Guys aren't to bright vis-a-vis interacting with peripheral females (i. e. not in regular contact) so it is up to you to set the tone. It sounds that the old relationship was quite platonic if he doesn't know your relevant skills!
