I texted a guy from a party where I met him. He sounded excited when he texted me back, but then deleted his message. What does that mean?

Need more context.. maybe he sent something risky? Like xxx type stuff tryna swindle you n was like maybe thats not a good idea? Lol I don't know. Maybe he has a girl? Maybe someone said something about you that made him hesitate? I don't know friend 🤷‍♂️
