Why would a guy suddenly remove me from snapchat?

Me and this guy met through social media. We started talking briefly before we found out we were attending to the same college this fall. Not long after, he asked for my snapchat. We added each other but it was late at night and he didn't snap me until the next day. He sent a selfie saying " hello beautiful" we snapped back and forth throughout the day. Our conversation left off with me mentioning my job and he took about 3 hours to respond and all he snapped was a picture of the highway with " back!" and I left him on opened. Today, I posted a picture on my story of me wearing a college shirt from the college we are both attending and he swiped up saying " I see you" I replied saying " lol yea" and he opens it and unfriends me. It makes no sense to me, why would he suddenly unfriend me?

Honestly any reason someone might give as to why he might have unfriended you will almost be irrelevant because you still won't know the actual reason. Personally, bucking up and contacting him to tell him how you feel, just like you did by taking the time to write out this question, is what I would tell you to do if you were my friend or something. Do you tho! By talking to him you find out what you want plus you get to know more about his true intentions and which you can use to judge whether or not this guy is even worth your time.

I'm 17 too lol. Honestly, even though I'm a bit disappointed I think it's best to leave it. He can't be worth my time, if he decided to unfriend me for no reason. Thanks so much for your advice!

I mean I sorta like the approach of just forgetting about him, but you did take the time to post this question so I'm assuming you felt you had something going with him so maybe you should just ask him what happened

I mainly say that bc I hate how our phones/social media can start problems like this that can easily be settled by just talking to a person like an actual human being

There's no way to know. Maybe he has a girlfriend and couldn't risk her finding out. Or something else. It's hard to tell.
