Otherwise he will assume you're okay with it & he's probably known women in his life who LIKED being called "girl" and didn't think it was a big deal. If he keeps doing it after you ask him to stop then that's a real problem.
And no, men don't view women in 100% the same way they view men because there's usually some aspect of sexual attraction or POTENTIAL attraction so it's not the same. Of course he might not talk to you the same as a guy. Yes, some guys keep things 100% professional in how they speak but still, gender is a reality. You don't magically become unisex when you go to work.15 Reply- +1 y
Eh. In cultures where men are allowed to be men it's not a problem if he flirts. As long as he keeps it respectful and doesn't touch. If you say only men need to change to make women feel a certain way while claiming women don't need to change anything that sounds like a double standard to me. If you go to work showing tons of cleavage in a work environment where that's normal you can claim it's all men's fault if they treat you different. But I'd say, you shouldn't be surprised if 100% of men aren't able to tune you out and be professional. Maybe you're not being professional too. Of course women don't wan to have to dress like men (not showing curves, no makeup and so on). You insist it's your right to look attractive.
Personally, I can tune women out... but not all guys can.

What odd metaphor mixing... I honestly don't see the problem with some atta-boy, and good girl, though that-a-girl would be less confusing, but bub is strictly for mildly insulting men. Missy moo is just odd and overly personal.
I'd shut it down unless you are interested in some weird dungeon roleplay in his basement.12 Reply

And I have no idea why anyone would all someone missy moo outside of a kinky sexual context so maybe it's their idea of suggestive flirting. Check your response and see if there's any hope there.10 Reply4.4K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. What's it about? It's about keeping you in your place, subordinate to men. If I were you I would be looking for other employment. Your current management does not take you seriously and it's hard to imagine you will be promoted by a company that tolerates managers addressing women as "girl".
00 ReplyThat is unprofessional. If it makes you feel uncomfortable you shouldn't take it. Regardless of whether it's coming from good place or not. It is how you feel on account of those words being uttered that matters. If you don't feel good, it could start affecting your work regardless of how professional you might be.

I don't know what "bub" means but "good girl" is flirtatious but not every woman sees it that way and only a certain age group of men use it. So again it is more about how you feel when you hear it that matters not the intent. You should be addressed in a way that makes you feel comfortable.
OH WOW LOOK A VERY GROWN VERY BUSINESS MINDED AND VERY SEXY MILF TYPE OF WOMAN GUYS ANYONE GETTING IN THE LINE TO ASK FOR HER DESPERATE ASS FOR HER NUMBER? NO OH GOOD CUZ SHE IS EXTREMELY ARROGANT PFFFFFFFFFF hahahahah.

I think it might be cultural thing. Where I live , this is how people talk in general so it's rarely seen as unprofessional.

+1 ySexist double standards.
I can feel that your employers are really into you, that's probably why you are being called cute names.
Anyway, if you don't want to be addressed like that in workplace, don't smile when they call you that name and tell them straight to the face00 Reply Sounds weird to me. Also sounds like a harassment lawsuit in the making.

+1 yIt's called inappropriate white male superiority behavior. Did you not know about this? I'm surprised he hasn't gotten around to commenting about your wonderful boobs yet.
00 Reply Not really sure what some of these terms are since I am not from New Zealand, however I’m assuming they are being a little un professional and flirting with you, considering you are a gorgeous hot blonde milf.

or maybe its just nicknames that bosses give you cause they prefer you over everyone else00 Reply
+1 yDo you have an uptight demeanor that causes them to want to joke around so that you ease up?
Guys do give each other nicknames. Girls even give guys nicknames.00 ReplyThere is no place for that in a professional work place. It's alright to have fun and a few laughs but silly names when complementing a good job is just dumb.
00 Reply990 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. guys are afraid to talk to women in the workplace, so many rules and lawsuits... so yeah they feel awkward, unsure how to give a "Female" a compliment... sucks... don't it?

+1 yHmm I'm really not sure if it's appropriate because English is not my native language but i believe at work they should talk serious and not use words friends use when they are eachother.
But i would like if you call me good boy 😋00 ReplyI don't know but what i do know is that its unusual and unprofessional
00 ReplySounds like flirting a bit WM. Since you're clearly closing deals, I'm sure they love you anyway!
