My friend told me he liked me last night and then I said I was confused. He stopped texting last night after that then said “stay confused😂 “ in the morning. I went off at him because I really liked him but he was talking to someone else and I didn’t wanna ruin that. He apologized and said he was just “fucked up” last night. I’m guessing that means drunk but if that was true, he said “stay confused” the next day. So he continued with it. Do you think he’s telling the truth or he just reacted differently because I went off on him?

he regrets saying it because of your "im confused" response. It has nothing to do with him having a drink. He put himself on the line and risked your friendship, probably thought it through 100times and plan how to say it. So now he's putting on the back burners and not wanting to feel hurt like that again, but still wants the friendship to last.

You need to stop acting like you have to be a 'friend' when it comes to other girls, if you like him you shouldn't care that he's talking to others. He is talking to another girl because to actually feel better because trust me you made him feel ugly. He thinks you played with his feelings, you also think he played with yours. Shocking. I won't be harsh to you as I myself had a similar situation with a girl who did the exact same to me, I said I liked her and she she wasn't ready and then waited a whole 3days to get back to me saying she likes me, but I felt like I didn't trust her so I refused to proceed. So she kept trying. This guy will try again trust me.

Stop feeling horrible.. from what I read, you guys have a pass. And you are allowed to feel confused... especially considering he's seeing another woman. He should "stay with that girl"... he just felt salty that you didn't come running back or didn't right away act like you were in love with him. He tried it, he failed. You were right for putting him in his place after he tried to check you bc you have legitimate feelings. Eww he's annoying and now he's butt hurt bc you didn't fall for it.

Because I felt annoyed that he told me a few days after I told him that I used to like him. And that he was romantically talking to someone else, like I just felt played with

Because I felt used and I felt angry like I was being played. I dealt a lot when he originally moved on quickly from me in the past. And I didn’t wanna ruin our friendship nor her relationship with him. And even if I am doing a «“bad job”, it’s not my responsibility anymore. I still like him but he decided to move on quickly and stop talking to me in the past. Us liking each other won’t change his relationship.

No, she felt played bc he clearly has feelings for another woman... seeing another girl.. so, why would he feel the need to tell her he liked her too. Thats as if he's insinuating that she is willing to be a side chick or girl number 2 ... for most, if you have feelings for someone, you certainly don't want them to have feelings for another person. So, let me ask you this, if you knew someone was talking to or dating another person and then they came to you and said they have feelings for you, wouldn't that make u feel a bit confused? And I hardly would consider it "stiff arming" simply bc she said, she's confused lol. He should have allowed her to have her feelings and explain to her that he has feelings for her even though he's seeing another woman.. not tell her, "stay confused" ... he was just mad bc she didn't jump to his attention.

She reacted to his actions... he was being a jersey by saying thay to her so, she decided to give him what he gave her... two wrongs don't make a right however, I get annoyed with people who don't understand that every action causes a reaction. Dont be an ass if you don't want someone being the same way to you. 🤷🏾‍♀️
