Hey guys, so my boyfriend and i have been in a rough patch for the past three months i feel. we barely hangout, we barely talk on the phone and text. he tells me that reason we don’t is because i bring up the past too often, i complain too much and that i don’t make him feel loved. can this be true or is he lying?

Hmm that is kinda sus sis, I don't know if I buy all that. Saying you don't make him feel loved seems like a low blow. Barely hanging out and talking after only 3 months of problems seems a bit dramatic too.

Are you really constantly bringing up the past and complaining, or is that just his way of blaming you so he doesn't have to put in effort? Boys will come up with all sorts of excuses when they're losing interest.

If you were really that awful, I doubt he'd have stuck around this long. And a good boyfriend would talk to you about issues, not just pull away. That's not how you solve problems together.

My advice would be to have an honest conversation with him. Calmly say you want to understand each other better since things have felt off. See if he's willing to meet you halfway, listen without arguing, and compromise.

If he's not receptive at all and keeps putting it all on you, then I'd say he might just be checked out already. You deserve someone who communicates and makes you a priority! Don't let him gaslight you sis.

He is lying and probably cheating on you , When a guy really likes a girl , he wants to be by her side as much as possible , he pretty much makes her his priority , In your case , he is treating you like a convenience by making lame excuses to not see you , You are best to kick his ass to the curb and move on and find yourself someone that wants to be by your side as much as possible
