Why do you think my ex just ghosted me after lying to me about being engaged and cheating on his fiancé with me for months?

My ex and I have been on and off for 10 years. (17-27)

I found out the truth after seeing his girlfriend post a photo of them buying a house together and sent this message:

‘I’m so confused about everything now. I don’t want to fuck anything up for you. I’m just feeling so confused.’

Then poof the asshole ghosted me. I keep over thinking everything and wishing I never said anything. I already feel like an idiot and the fact that he just ignored me after everything made me feel the lowest I’ve ever felt in my life.

I don’t understand how you could tell someone you love, miss, want them, sleep with them for almost a year while being in the middle of buying a house and getting engaged to someone else.

What was I to him? Why did he just ghost?

It is pretty apparent why he ghosted you. He doesn't want his fiancé finding out about what has been going on. Do you really want to remain the side piece? I don't always condone revenge but karma is a real bitch. Even if she doesn't find out from you, she definitely will find out in the future. He will cheat with someone else. Leave the pig alone. Cry, be angry and deal but move on. Stop this on and off situation. It's not worth wasting more years of your life.

We live quite far away from each other now so it's like he was living 2 separate lives. I don't know how his partner never noticed him texting me as he was actually living with her. He worked a lot of night shifts so I guess that was his cover. So disgusting.

I just don't know why he just disappeared on me without even saying a word in the end. He's always been a big part in my life and it's like I was nothing.
