How can I comfort my male friends?

uh hi !!! As you can tell I'm female and born female, I can make other posts about me and stuff. However, the most important question for me is how do I comfort my male friends and make them less uncomfy? I can kinda tell when one of my male friends isn't feeling well but I don't want to push it or anything. How do I safely ask them how they are feeling?
I've noticed (correct me if I'm wrong) males just push their feelings down and talk to you after the fact. Also, most males seem to have solutions whenever you try to vent to them (and that's totally fine!!! by the way). I just want my male friends to know I'm there for them and I'll support them and I don't want to shove it down their throats about it. I have more male friends than female friends, so mostly I talk to dudes.
I can make another post about why I have more guy friends, but this post is mostly how can I comfort my male friends? Also, if you're still reading this, thank you so much!!! I ramble a lot and so if there's run-on sentences I'm sorry.

hoo boy !! I've gotten a lot of replies and I'd like to thank y'all so much!! Just to explain further, these are online friends and I cannot physically hug them ): I do not try to pressure my male friends to do anything and I try to be there as much as possible. Sometimes it's hard for me to get tiny hints and I have been told I don't notice tiny hints.

The thing about us guys is that whenever something is bringing us down, we do one of two things:
Option A: Try to think of a practical solution, or talk to someone else about what could be done about the problem.
Option B: If our sadness is caused by something that cannot be fixed right away, then we just try to do something to take our minds off it until such a time comes when a practical way to solve it can be done.
None of those two choices are necessarily unhealthy. In fact, most of us do it this way simply BECAUSE we have found it to be the most useful.
So the best thing you can do for your guy friends (it obviously doesn't apply to literally every guy on the planet, but in general) is to help them do one of those two things. Either try to help them out by finding a way to solve the problem or simply take them to do something fun.

Guys don't share emotions because it is asign of weakness. They don't want to be thought of as someone who could be in the friend zone.

Just talk to them about other things. If is important to them they will talk about it. Just be there and be a friend without going over the top.

Some of my male friends do open up about their issues with me with no hesitation. It is important to be straightforward, ask questions, and when they share their issue then don't bother too much about trying to reassure them like you would do to a girl friend, instead focus on discussing what can be done about the situation instead. If your advice works, he will really appreciate it.

I usually just make it short and to the point. I usually ask them if they're doing okay, because they look a little down in the dumps or something. Then let them know I'm here if they need anything. Just being there with them usually helps until they make a decision on whether or not they want to talk about it etc.

You’re already doing well, simply by being there without wanting to make them talk about it. Men generally are very selective about who they come to with their problems, and generally will go to other men with their issues as they feel they’ll understand better. All you can really do is be there if they need you.

simple. ask them what's going on and stay quite. they will be compelled to speak and do not be surprised if you get a 4 hour long meltdown of what's bothering him. because i promise you its a lot he has bottled up. but after he does this he will trust you more than his mother. so don't be that cunt that goes and tells everyone his business or uses it against him because you got angry later in the friend ship. because he may kill himself from the shame or NEVER trust a woman again.

My friends are all guys and they all love cars gaming and doing stupid things talk to them about things they like they will be so comfortable

But most importantly be chill yourself if you are uncomfortable it will make the guys uncomfortable so be chill and they will be chill

keep it simple... no matter what the situation is, all you need to say is "I'm here for you, if you ever wanna talk" give him a second to digest and then "honor" his body language, you can "read" if he is open to talking, don't PUSH, walk away or take a seat...

You can already tell if your friend feels sad so no need in asking if he feels ok because that’s putting pressure on him. Instead bring silliness and joy/laughter into his life. If a friend is worried or frustrated, he will be grateful that you made him laugh and that releases some stress. Sometimes laughing for guys is like venting for girls.

Most men hesitate to express themselves around women because of fear of how the woman will react, that she'll be offended or angry. If you can help them realize that you won't become angry or offended, then that will help them open up a lot more.

Guys are just people. Just ask how they are doing. Or ask if something is wrong. I always ask people if there is anything I can do for them.

Males are usually very private. I don't share my problems with my female friends unless I am very close with them and that doesn't happen often.

Do stuff with your friends, specially something that one can talk over it, and it will come out.

Make a chill atmosphere where they approach you to talk or hang out, if that's fine, sharing will come much easier
