Why does my ex keep texting me even though I don’t reply or if I do it’s dry?

We were together for just a few months before he just dropped me after being really vague and coming up with random reasons why he didn’t want to be in a relationship. Come to find out he wanted to do stuff with another girl. I blocked him on almost everything but he still texts me randomly when he sees me around and stuff. I usually don’t answer or if I do I just dry text because he really hurt me. Why does he do that. After not even apologizing for what he did?

I’m not interested in the attention. I just hadn’t thought about every platform when I blocked him and I really didn’t think he would reach out that’s all. I wasn’t thinking that deep into it :)

He likes the idea that you are present. Or he Is just checking in. Regardless he hurt you. Every time you will see his text you will associate it with upset. So what I would do is block him and find something else to occupy that feeling. Like if you start reminiscing ; try something that uplifts you in your career or hobby wise. It is good that you got out of this destructive relationship before it got worse. Both men and women do nasty things like this and most cases will repeat it if you let it.

If he harasses you in any way. Get a restraining order. Or you could threaten a restraining order. either way, just be careful.
