Guy admits to dreaming of me, says I never told him what I wanted from him, and ignores me. We reconcile, we make plans to meet, and he ignores me?

Why's he like this? What to do?

My late boyfriend passed in 2019. His best friend and I didn't talk at the funeral, but connected via Facebook that August over our grief.

May 2020, he said he dreamed of me. I simply told him we're friends.

October 2020, he acted stranger like deactivating to reactivate, told me I never told him what I wanted from him, and unfriended me.

We reconciled in January. I didn't hold his behavior against him because he lost his best friend. He told me his girlfriend told him they're still together, but took their son to live with her parents because they couldn't afford child care. He told me he viewed that as her leaving him.

Things were normal until I returned from Georgia. The last he spoke to me was on March 13, my last full day in Georgia. I messaged him after Georgia, and it took him a few days to read, which I understand as he's busy with school, but he never did that without replying and apologizing for taking long to reply.

I'll be in Washington, DC this year, and he's in Baltimore, about an hour away. January 2020, I brought up us taking in the sights for a day or 2 before I returned to DC. He was ok with it and said he wished my work would specify on a date for my trip soon. I told him the date on March 23 and that's when he blocked me.

The last paragraph contains a typo. January 2020 should be January 2021.
