I like it, and have long hair myself but it's for sure feminine by society and welp Feminine and masculine are social concepts. Myself i am okay with people calling it so, feminine stuff tends to look better anyway.
The long hair is feminine comes from the Christian bible, specifically the writings attributed to Paul. But most warrior cultures saw long hair as a sign of a warrior Celts, Norns, Japanese, native Americans all had long hair.
didn't jesus have long hair tho? Or was the bible okay with Jesus been feminine? And like many other men in the bible also had long hair? Was it just pauls bias? Not anyone else's view really in the bible.
1 Corinthians 11:14: Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him,
In the west Christian dogma was law of the land for 1000 years so it became the normal situation. When Christian writers spoke about heathens one reoccurring item was remarks about men with long hair.
And @kanek05 Paul did heavily influence Christian beliefs. Many of his views became canon such as celibacy, women covering their hair, the removal of kosher edicts, etc. The Catholic church considers him their first pope and there was a lot of thought around the last few books in the bible by Christian scholars for those doctrins were what determined the "true church."
@Kaneki05 Sorry man, not my religion. I am interested in the history, and study religious beliefs from a historical perspective. I can't argue the theology as there's so many religious twists and turns that it takes a little bit of logic bending to make sense.
I recon our ancestors had long hair like that, and they were more macho type manly than any present men so eh its kinna irrelevant to call it feminism according to me.

I think it's very cool, not many men these days have long hair.. at least in my area where I live.
Reminds me of The Dude in The Big Lebowski 😅

Iβve never seen that in the Bible, Iβve seen it say long hair is the glory of a woman thatβs about it

Makes sense well thank you very much for your input.
Hell yeah. If you've got good quality hair, show it.
Glad you like long hair. Mine is shoulder length now, I like it and think it's a good sign of health and manliness
Hot as fuck. I prefer guys with long hair or at least medium hair.
If it's well groomed I find it really attractive. If it is tangled and greasy... not so much.
I have long dreads, and many people look at it as anything but feminine.. The opposite really.. LOL..
Certain men can some men can't. Those that can and wear it well in very into them. Those that don't well cut that man bun off. Lol!
I'm a hairlover.
So it's quite frustrating to see beautiful hair, and then to realize it's on a man.
some guys look great with it, others actually need it
I don't think there are too many guys who would look bad with it
I like guys with long hair, but I prefer a medium lenght, not very long hair
Don't want competitionπ€π»
How long is long and how long is medium?
Don't think it's feminine or manly, on some men it's really beautiful true but to me, it's a hassle cuz my hair gets moised to fast
Don't really care if guys have it or not.
But i do know that it is a real pain in the ass to maintain day to day, in many professions. 😑
I love it, but it doesn't look great on everyone, some guys look better with short hair. I don't think it looks femenine
It looks good on some people, and doesn't on others.
I'm actually looking to grow my own hair down to my shoulders. For most of history most men had long hair. Long hair being feminine is a recent thing.
But those men also have beard along with their long hair.
@Vivaldi For most of history most men had beards too.
They also did not trim their beards. Did they?
@Vivaldi In the beginning no but over time there is some evidence of shaving and trimming
I tried to grow my hair long once. It took too long. 😂 and once i felt it on my neck i had to cut it. Cest la vie.
I have long hair lol. Not very much long tho.
And i like em.

My brother has long hair which he has had for years. It looks good on him though I think he should trim it.
