Why would a guy continue to have you on his social media?

Not to get into too many details but he upset me with something pertaining to Facebook and I called him out on it and told him I'm cool with him but I'm not an option anymore. I unfriended him on Snapchat and such but anyways, he's kept me on his Facebook and then turned around and sent me a Snapchat request and deleted a post pertaining to another chick (which initially pissed me off anyways). I'm not looking for some type of ego stroke but after I told him that he hasn't messaged, but still kept me on FB and still has that request for me on snap.

You can contact with the guy you love on Facebook, Snapchat, etc. Do you know that there are still people here who can't talk normally to their loved ones / who haven't even seen the face of their loved ones? Hey dear, can you tell me about my situation? I'll summarize it : I loved a guy in my school for 1 year and confessed him after 3 years. He got very happy and cutely mad at me for not telling him before. We talked on phone and he said "I've never talked to someone for 30 minutes". He was curious and we texted everyday. I was very happy and we both decided to meet. He hugged me when he met me. Our first meeting went fantastic but he knew that I'm going to abroad and he broke his promise of not meeting me again, then he got distant and then I also decided to not text because it was not my fault. Then we totally STOPPED talking. I was really upset and mad at myself because I found out that he still hasn't moved on from his school crush who used to ignore him. My crush had ego issues so I knew that he won't talk again unless I DO. So I also dropped him off and I continued my life... ZERO communication for 4 years and NOW SUDDENLY HE SENT ME A FOLLOW REQUEST, I added him but he hasn't texted yet. So I think that I'm just an option for him...

He may have several hundred people on his Facebook, but might not pay attention to your account anymore, if you want to make sure about that, you have to block him.
