Why would a guy watch your social media for years but never contact you?

I know someone well over 10 years. And over those years we both expressed intrest and attraction but i was clouded and not really paying him no mind.

I guess he was trying to send clues online but i honestly wasn't paying any attention.

Now fast forward to now i have feelings and really want to re connect but he's playing dumb and ignoring me. Why? He watches my socials all day and night and now that i put some motion behind my actions you ignore? Whats going on?

- He might have been into you for a long time but was too shy to actually make a move. Now he's not sure how to respond since you're finally showing interest.

- Feels like too much time has passed and you ignored him for so long that he's moved on, even if he still checks your socials.

- Possible he's worried it will be awkward or things won't work out since so much time has passed. Scared of putting himself out there.

- Could be talking to some other girl now and doesn't wanna jeopardize that. But still feels drawn to you.

I'd say hit him up confidently, let him know your feelings, and ask to hang out. Give him a chance to explain himself too. See how he responds in person rather than just online watching. Maybe you can reconnect if he knows you're dead serious now. If he still ignores you, his loss!
