He’s been wanting me to make rice saying how much he loves it i buy the ingredients and tell him I can make it for him very nice and enthusiastic and he says in a monotone voice “can we eat ramen “ then I’m like I got this for u I thought u want it and he’s like not right now and then he’s like sorry I hit a sore spot then when I ask why he’s being mean I thought he wanted it he’s like I do want it just not now. Is he being a dick?

Depends on the way he said it and tbh , he should just appreciate you and eat whatever you make.
