Ex unfriended me on Facebook (has he moved on)?

My ex just unfriended me on Facebook today and yesterday he changed his cover photo (which was a picture of me) to something else.

Maybe something I shared bothered him. i shared a post that said "I remember I dated a bum and no one slapped tf out of me" and posted something about dating this guy or just having a "hot girl summer".

He originally unfriended me on Snapchat like a week or two after we broke up. We hadn't talked for a bit until he messaged me on there.

Maybe he's finally moved on or my post bothered him or both. He claimed he wanted to be friends after the breakup and I told him i wanted to go back to no contact for a bit and he said fine.

What a low blow, I've never understood people who smack talk their ex on their looks. Hello! You didn't have a problem then! You need to move on immediately and stop stalking him on his social media platforms.. this will give you some closure and time to grieve.. yes that means blocking him! Don't torture yourself, it's over and now you have to flourish without out him.

He commented on a mutuals saying telling her being single was alright and it was better than being in a toxic relationship, depressed and miserable. He basically blamed me for his depresssion

You're still following him. You need some distance from him. He's going to say whatever vindicates his ego and his friends at the moment. People grieve differently and some people can't accept their shortcomings in a relationship so its easier to deal with it by blaming someone else. The more you read his comments the more it'll hurt you.. is that what you want? Clearly you guys breaking up is beneficial, he doesn't seem like a nice person.

There's a difference between "no contact" and insulting him.
I wouldn't remain friends with an ex who was insulting me on a public forum.
