This guy used to give me lots of attention. (I won’t lie and say it wasn’t enjoyable). We were both attracted to each other but nothing could come of it due to our current circumstances. I figured it wouldn’t last long but naively thought that once the feelings of attraction cooled, that we could still be friendly towards one another since we have to see each other frequently and we have a lot in common.
He became a different person with me almost overnight. He seems to have gotten over his feelings pretty quick but the friendliness is not there. I can barely talk to him anymore because he always acts uncomfortable around me. He avoids eye contact, gets quiet/serious and standoffish.
We have to see each other at work. Once he got over his attraction to me, he became fun and talkative with every other woman we work with. Which is very different from how it used to be. He will compliment all of them but be passive-aggressive with me. Even when he was crushing on me, he never talked to me or complimented me the way he does the other women. I think I misunderstood him from the very beginning.
