For the most part, PRIVATELY - unless it's anger, or a victory celebration. Those are the two emotions we can show publicly.

Generally, when something is bothering a woman, she wants to TALK and SHARE her feelings with someone close to her. But this is best done with other women, because when you bring a problem to a man, his natural instinct is to come up with a solution to the problem and fix it. The concept of listening to a problem and not doing something about it is completely foreign to men. For men, if something is bothering us, we don't focus on our feelings about it, we focus on solving the problem, so that those feelings go away.

In those cases where there's no practical solutions, then men tend to isolate themselves and work out their emotions privately. That's how we de-stress and how we process our feelings about things. It's the reason men will get up at 4am to go stand in an ice cold stream for 8 hours to "fish", or will tinker on an old car, or play video games for 12 hours, or just sit and mindlessly stare at a TV without even knowing what's playing. It's not that we're lazy - we're PROCESSING. And for most of us, talking about it doesn't help anything - we just need the time to ourselves to resolve it.

Oh, we do... but we (at least most of us) do it alone.

Guys learn very early that if they cry in front of people, those people tend to lose respect for him. That's even true of wives and girlfriends, and there have been surveys of thousands of women that have proven this out. Most women would excuse it in rare circumstances - the loss of a parent or child or maybe even a pet - but beyond that, if they see a man cry, they think he's weak, and they lose respect for him. You may feel differently (or think you do - many women THINK it wouldn't bother them, but it does), but if that's true, then you're an exception to the rule.

Many women just don't realize the weight of the expectations that men are under - you feel the weight of your own societal expectations, but don't realize that men have them too, and while the expectation may be different for us, it's no less profound or difficult to manage.

Depends on the specific guy. Everyone handles them differently. Just like women. But in general, we are "taught" by society that it's not "manly" to express your feelings, so a lot of us repress them. And then it might come out in different ways, such as anger (with some) etc. A lot of guys will work out to release that energy. But other guys have no problem expressing their feelings. Depends on the guy, and who he's expressing them to.

I handle my feelings my going out alone somewhere thinking about them and let go of certain things. I don´t cry because there is not much that gets me attached emotionally so there is no need to cry about that.

I´m not crying very often because I´m a less emotional guy. There are other guys that way more emotional than me. I get emotional about missing someone I´m just not crying it´s nothing extraordinary to me. I also come from a family where being dramatic or emotional as a guy is classified as "toxic masculinity" when it´s overdone so I´m rather stoic.
But that´s something that depends on each guy.
