Why do guys ask to call and then give excuse to hang up?

I´m not really sure if there was a hidden agenda behind that. For me it just sounds like a bad coincedence. Because there are always times when people don´t like to talk because they don´t have the time.
What makes you sure that there is a hidden agenda behind that? Because if I talk to a neighbour I´m not keen having a video call at the same.
I could be wrong but I´m not seeing anykind of purpose in that.

I’m currently on vacation not in the country so he asked me to video call in the night. I did but he cut it so short moreover when I was sleeping it was day time for him he sent pictures of himself. When I asked him you sent me your pictures he was like I don’t remember. Anyways after he hang up giving excuse of going to the loo. I did see him online talking to someone. It’s our initial stages of dating. If you read my latest question can you tell me how what he meant.

Maybe it was just a bad moment. I don´t know actually because it´s all that very clear I don´t know if he has some hidden agenda or wasn´t ready to be called because he had visitors or someone else there. Maybe it would help if you find a certain time where you video call each other so you both have some kind of date doing so. That way both can make sure that they aren´t interpreted by some else. Because your description sounds to me that he hadn´t given you a fixed time so he might have been suprised by you calling.

Then wait some time. Maybe there were some bad coincedences happening on that day when you phoned him. But if he seems uninterested when you text me or call him and he seems to create a habit out of it, it may wise to drop him. Because if he gets through keeping contact in rather lousy way he won´t probably change in a relationship although he might promise it and might seem to change at the beginning. From my experience guys that had a bad habit while dating and promised their girls to change in a relationship later often times fell back into those habits. Those guys had a different bad habit, they had messy cars. But I think it would become similar with him.

It all depends on your tolerance level. But you could just drop him and talk to someone who actually takes you seriously. That's what I would do if I were you.
