Why would your ex boyfriend call you and hang up when you answer?

My ex called me first, I answer and then he hung up on me! He did this twice and I'm just wondering..why did he do that? What is he thinking? I text him about it but he doesn't respond back..and when I called him he answerd then he hung up on me..I don't get! HELP! what's going on?

maybe he called the wrong number or maybe he butt dailed, his friends are doing it, etc. just don't answer
