Guys, why did he look back at me after walking me home?

we had a really nice night and morning together and he walked me home. he started to walk away and as i was unlocking my door i went for a sneaky look at him and he looked back at me, to which i did a really weird wave to xD
just wondering why he looked back?

not really. sometimes people look back at one another by accident.. which it really was. i didn't expect him to look back, hence the awkward wave. but if it doesn't mean much then ah well.

by accident i meant i didn't expect him to look back. i just wanted to have one last glance at him and didn't expect the same back. because i wanted to ask, so i did it.
