Mr Rogers had a quote “everyone is loveable if you know their story” (I don’t know if it was originally his quote) But we all know are own story better than anyone else’s since we’er ultimately are own main character, therefore (unless we’er depressed) see are-selves as good and ‘nice’. We are more sympathetic to are own needs than others, and see are own justifications as more justified, even if no other reason than we know them better
