but you're saying something about ignoring her... I might be in need to do something like that, for example ignoring an ex that has become an obsessive stalker? that would be an example of me wanting to stay away and keep a distance... but my intention would not be to hurt her. I've never been in that situation though, so I am just guessing.

I'd ignore her. Sadly, there are women (and no doubt some men) who refuse to be ignored and who just won't go away. They may require sterner measures.

That would be my take. If he can't let go he hasn't moved on- in fact, he probably hasn't budged an inch (centimeter) and he now wants to make her life miserable. Let me make it clear that this is not something that I would do, it is simply my opinion regarding your narrative.

I'll tell you my situation:

I kept ignoring him cause I was unsure about his intentions while he continued to show interest in me (I was told by his classmates that he's a flirt). He was my senior and graduated a year ago... we saw each other 9 months ago very briefly and I spoke to him nicely a few weeks ago cause I thought maybe I was wrong & he deserves a second chance but he tried to make me feel bad on purpose. I don't understand why did he behave this way? If he didn't want to talk he could have just ignored me?

As I said earlier, there are people who refuse to be ignored. The best thing to do is to continue ignoring him. Block him or delete him, to take some sort of measures to rid yourself of him. The worst thing you can do is to respond as that will only encourage further communication.
