Sounds like OP doesn't understand the market...
Men will lower his standards for a one-night stand, while women will raise.
So what happened is that you met a guy hot enough for a one-night-stand, and he lowered his standards because you'd sleep with him easily.
The guys that are hot enough for you to give it up on the first/second night will not miss you because they were embarassed to show you to friends and family in the first place. For a committed girlfriend he can do better, assuming he'd even want to leave the casual dating scene (for attractive men its much better never to have relationships)
Where in the world did this entire scenario come from? All I pasted in the detail box was "Under what terms do guys start missing something they had a thing/fling with in the past?"
You support his purpose. Sandwiches, massages, the occasional BJ, be the flight attendant he can't replace. He'll always miss you. If you dont have much to offer, change your ways. Those instructions are very simple
Wdym flight attendant? Like someone having a unique career?
@jenfin87 ohhh I see
Let’s cut to the cHaSe. The no contact rule is a plus. If he’s on your social media post attractive pics. Also you can do manifestation and ask the universe to bring him back or have him text you this really worked but you have to believe it will. Don’t act desperate and best of all just enjoy life they’ll usually come around anyways as soon as you’ve forgotten about them my ex text me 8 years later and said he had been looking for me for a while and missed me.
Is there a certain meditation you recommend? I’ve tried the guided text one by sri but to no avail (or perhaps to no avail just yet). Let me know!
There’s plenty videos on YouTube. Funny thing happened after I answered your question my ex texted me unexpectedly. Just believe and watch a few of the videos. Let me know if it works.
Okay!!
My ex didn't want to get married (the main reason we split up). He changed his mind when I found someone new. Unfortunately for him, it was too late.

Well first of all the guy has to have really like you and still like you otherwise nothing is going to make him miss you. When most guys move on they move on I'm kind of in this same boat right now that I was chatting with a girl and then I said something about it maybe not being right and then she talked to somebody whatever they told her it kind of came down to we should probably not talk to each other anymore in the way that we would have been so we both agreed and we still see each other and say hi but there is a friendship there's a friendship and they bond and who she is as a person. And other things so I missed that from her. She's just a good person I like talking with her but I think you have to really like somebody and it's going to be their choice whether they miss you or not
Lol if it was a fling why would they miss you if he missed u he would have made sure to be more then a fling
That's why I said thing/fling. You can use either term.
Oh okay. By "thing" I mean almost a relationship/intimately good friends. Unless he almost gets a relationship with every girl he meets I do think there is some leeway there between it being considered "casual".
I cut things off because I was mad at him
Lol if u cut things off why would he reach out only someone thay was obsessed with u would act in that way plus the conditions u speak off are always double edged as yes he can miss u if u are always around but equally he can't move on with u always around u being out off sight helps him find someone else
But then again you're saying if he wanted something he would've came back and apologized right? Because he didn't do that. Either way it was definitely more than something casual. Casual is something you have with anyone
Yeah no that makes sense
Because like I said unless he is the type off guy to chase after a women thats playing games (which I agree some guys are) stuff like this just tends to push guys away he will vent to his friends u blocked him they will laugh and joke and say to come out with them and ends up with another women at a bar or club or he ends up venting to another female friend that will jump into your place stuff like this always holds a high chance off backfiring
Ohh I see. Dang. Do you know what would've been a better way of showing I didn't like the way he was treating me? Blocking didn't work, nor did actually mentioning it
U understand that u can't make someone treat u well right they have to want to treat you well if u are semi dating or together and your partner is treating u like shit if u talk about it and things don't change no matter what u do he won't change because ay that point its been made clear and he simply don't care how u feel blocking him is just a childish tantrum tactic
Mmm I wouldn't say blocking is childish. The blocking would help me not text him again and help me destress from the situation. It's a way of saying don't bother right now and I still use it, just not on the platform we used because I didn't like the fact that the other person would be able to tell if they were blocked.
But I do agree with everything else you are saying. The idea you have of blocking being childish is your personal opinion in my opinion.
Blocking someone in a attempt to make them know your upset with them is childish its behaviour that breeds toxic behaviour like the silent treatment these are forms off manipulation its already understood communication is the best form off dealing with a issue cutting communication clearly ain't a good thing if u want someone to work
Sure - what would be the best thing then? Texting him repeatedly voicing my anger? Because like I said, the blocking also helps me control myself.
But if blocking is required as a form off self control there is a bigger issue as irl u can't just block him if your living together or in eachothers presence if he does somthing to piss u off the closest thing is the silent treatment but its known to be a toxic way off dealing with a situation because it in turn will piss him off that he is being ignored and will cause a even bigger argument it means u are using unpractical or unhealthy coping methods to help u
As for what u could do it will always be hard but its just communication being able to take time to process your thoughts then communicate the issue with them ofc it never so easy to do but it's the best way to deal with it
Makes sense. Usually I communicate. I think back then I was too shy to communicate problems so I would just let them build off of each other until I couldn't take it and voiced all of the issues and then blocked. Really unhealthy. But yeah nah, I still use blocking, but it's only if they've pissed me off to a great extent, I need space, they can't tell if I've blocked and they have not fixed the issue. If it was irl I would leave, simply put. Divorce, move, whatever I need to do. Online, its blocking. Does that make sense?
Blocking is an amazing tool that has helped me out lmao. It’s gives people the perception that I have the ability to just walk away from issues
You should never have that as a goal. That is a sign of manipulation. You should be there for the guy as much as possible, when you can't it might make him miss you but that should be irrelevant for your plans.
Like I told another guy, this entire world is technically manipulated. But thank you for your response
Well it's because of people who think like this. You should accept people as they are and treat them according to their behavior instead. You can see that as manipulative also. Because you don't give trust to people who hasn't earned it and so on. So all interaction give a reaction. But one is trying to shape them while the other is trying to make them change themselves if they want a different situation.
Okay. So just accept the fact that he may or may not miss me and treat him as is. Eh kind of sounds like the move of one who gives up easily. All I want to do is make sure I’m not doing anything that would make him not miss me.
If taking steps not to be taken for granted is also manipulation, I really don’t care if I’m manipulative at this point
Add some nice looking selfies on your stories, he will miss you. Let him know you happy (even if you aren't) without him.
Walk away and live like he never existed. Don't hate him but have apathy for him. Don't talk to him or about him. Have a life that lights you up.
You can’t make anyone do anything. It depends on how important she was for him and if he is a loving guy.
What you’re asking is manipulation. Better would be to understand this. The idea that a guy can’t miss a girl he is always around is false, I know someone who has (me). That is a really poor misconception that may have been professed by people who are sitting on a mountain of misconceptions. Infact I bet if you unravel all these things and choose a good behavior this will attract said guy or someone much much better
He only miss you if he miss you. There’s a saying. Yesterday is tomorrow. Tomorrow is today. But today is the present. That’s why the gift is called the present
It wasn’t exactly in the same order, but I like this more because it’s funny like 24 and 25
I think the better question is how do you get him to communicate with you when he misses you…
They don't miss the ones they have flings with. They miss the ones they love.
Thats some manipulating thinking and super toxic. If he misses you he will, don't force that on him via manipulation
Is someone dressing up so they can attract people manipulative too? Manipulation is everywhere in my opinion, just in different forms.
Uhhh, guys move on from things really quick. Usually when something ends we are like eh well it was fun while it lasted and that's it
Why is it that guy exs often come back after a year then :0
I understand how you feel, we want guys to fall for us and make us feel important.
But only low value women have concerns like this.
It's kinda like if you want to manipulate a man like this. It only shows your true nature. Which explains why you put yourself as anonymous rather than using your real name.
As one sis to another, please be better than this, you are high value, not this low.
I just don't want to be taken for granted. It really doesn't have to be a high-value, low-value thing MHO 0%. Does someone wanting to dress to impress someone make them low-value too? Cause I didn't think so :p
Someone on here gave very nice advice: "be happy by yourself". This is far better advice than "don't do this, you are low value and that's why you're anonymous". The given answer encourages one to focus on themselves instead while your answer focuses on labelling women as low or high value based on what they're concerned about.
You cannot MAKE someone miss you, either they do or they don’t.
You pour glitter in his pants
Could it be that maybe you're not used to this type of relationship
Post some slutty pics online
When he’s horny.
Funny but true
Indeed.
Fairly true. Not 100% of the time but often enough the case.
Can't make anyone miss anyone
If he likes you already he will miss you.
Good sex usually does the trick
You leave.
You can't
