Why would a guy im casual with try and make me jealous (when it was my decision to be casual)?

He will make comments like:
I have so many girls after me
Your only going to keep having sex with me then get rid of me.

I obviously never give him satisfaction I just ignore him but it’s starting to make me wonder why he’s acting like this.

I am shooting blindly here but to me it seems most likely he is:

A. Trying to inflate his own value (put a ring on me, type).
B. Trying to make it clear he is also casual and that you are not the only one seeing other people (inferiority-complex?)
C. My personal most likely - Is trying to provoke you to share whether you have others or not. Potentially intersted in you.

You could rule them out by process of elimination and possibly get a better idea.
Failing that you can always just ask him without being too confrontational.
