Odds are he has a lack of interest. Also its very rude to do that over and over, isn't it? Its like you are not a priority?
And I don't think you are being demanding to expect a guy you are seeing to follow through on plans.
I mean once in a blue moon is okay, but regularly?
Something is wrong. I would ask him about it and tell him how it makes you feel. He will either be really sorry about it and change his behavior (which means he is into you) or he will get all offended and make you feel like a bad person for even asking (which means he does not give a crap... and if you ask me, you should move on). Don't tolerate bad behavior in a relationship. Its never a good sign and rarely gets better.10 Reply

Just look at it this way - every moment you waste on this guy who is not interested in you, is a moment you are not finding the guy who will make you forget all about him. There is no excuse for him to cancel on you that much. Don't bury your head in the sand and hope for something that is not happening. If you truly care about him, talk to him directly about it, share your feelings, find out. Then you can know where you stand. Anyone who tells you its legit for him to just blow you off 50% of the time, is not thinking about how they would feel if it was them. There is no excuse that makes it okay. Talk to him and have a heart to heart. Don't wonder about it and accept the BS.

+1 yThat he's not that invested in you. It's normal for people to cancel or have to reschedule plans or dates; we're human afterall and have other obligations!
But if he's habitually doing so, constantly making up excuses, or doesn't put in the effort to try and make it up to you? He's not that interested. That and he doesn't respect you.
You need to ask yourself are you going to put up with him behaving this way to you, or are you going to find someone that doesn't waste your time?30 Reply
+1 yCancel on him back and then when he responds just say it it’s not working but thanks. If you have those issues BEFORE dating you should see that as a red flag. Often people don’t then wonder why the relationship is trash. Be happy he’s showing you. Now …on to the next.

Otherwise he would respect your time and make sure that whatever time you do schedule is meet. You should at least know what he cancel for, is it work or being sick. But that shouldn't happen that frequently.

Well you are certainly not high value to him if he rather work a extra shift then keep his promises. He should know how many shifts he needs to keep a float and which days you can claim them. Missing a shift because you made plans shouldn't be an issue. Just don't have so many plans that it becomes one. Everything is a sign of a bad planner and you not being important or him not setting his foot down at work. If your a slave with no control of your work hours, you should find another work asap.

+1 yWell, people do get busy with the lives and obligations. It could be a lack of commitment to you, or it could be that he agrees to do something before he realizes that he has other obligations for that time. If that is the case, with other commitments, he needs to get more organized with his time. Not cool to keep cancelling out.
I know a lady who is like that with boyfriends. (She and I never dated.) She always cancels out and the guys get mad and end it with her.10 Reply - 1.3K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic.
+1 yHe may be interested in you, but there could be other factors which make him do this, so don't write him off based on that.

+1 yUnless he works certain jobs (eg doctor or nurse), you're lowish priority to him.
11 Reply He has a life also. Don’t overthink. Even things come up in a guy’s life. You say it’s 50/50, he shows up, sometimes he doesn’t. Just don’t force things and overthink the situation. Let it play out and things will work out for the best
10 ReplyHe’s probably not that into you but doesn’t have the balls to tell you.
10 ReplyI thing he not really interested in u he’s just using u maybe to say to his friends look at this hot girl I got I think it’s best u move on and get someone who appreciates you
10 ReplyEither too busy or he doesn’t care enough about you to want to hang out with you. I don’t know which it is. You’d have to talk to him to find out what is going on.
10 ReplyHe isn't interested in you and he probably sees you as just a friend. There might be a small possibility that this man is actually the president of America cuz then I would understand it.

+1 yYou are chasing Chad Thundercock who has plenty of options. When he gets a better offer he cancels. Why shouldn't he, he has a phone full of women who will fuck him silly with a phone call.
Don't like it? Stop chasing Chad Thundercock.14 Reply- +1 y
@nickaboy Chad still fucks his way through legions of women. Chad can fuck your wife an hour after he meets her.

But that’s the thing. If he knows that I’m feeling down. He’ll act concerned. And it seems like there’s some interest there but then again I’m not sure. Maybe he just wants one thing, or I’m just someone he acknowledges when he’s bored or something. He would also compliment me randomly but not consistently
