If a guy you’ve been seeing posts a photo of another girl in a car on his Instagram and says she’s just a friend. is that a red flag?

Context of the photo is a girl in a Ferrari but he’s not in it and the caption is basically a memory they had together in Dubai which he’s not even there anymore couple months ago.
Here’s the photo of the convo for reference. Been seeing this guy for 2 months and known him as a friend for 5 years.

If you are close to dating you still have grounds to like know like how they became friends. And if he's hesitant just tell him it would make it easier to believe the whole "just a friend" phrase. And I'm sure he'd probably just put it out there if he really wants to keep you around.

Its like not hard from a guys perspective to just say she's a old friend from high school, college or some fundamental part of a guys past or something.

If that bothers you you should just say it. Another thing you can do is post something where you two are together on your page and see how he reacts. But in the end.. everything comes down to communication. It seems like you two are lacking that. Communicate what bothers you and try to fix that together.
