I’ve recently met someone & feel like he likes me. I like him 2. A little story:
I was a waitress for a year, but I quit last week. In my last two weeks of work, we hired a new guy. He is 1,5 years younger. From the first moment, we have gotten along super well. He is so friendly & talked to me literally whenever we met at work. While talking, we always made lots of eye contact. To the extent that it lasts longer than usual. The eye contact is quite intense but not in a bad way. I also noticed that when talking in a group, he’d always look me in the eyes, even though he was talking to all of them, not just me. Whenever I said something, he immediately was all ears. We laughed & smiled at each other a lot, too. He also fidgeted around with his sleeves, ran his fingers through his hair while talking to me, .. it seemed like he’d somehow always manage to walk or stand next to me, too. He mentioned him being with other girls in one or two convos we had tho. He had an ex, danced with a girl he liked at a party.. just random little facts involving girls. He hugged me goodbye after my last shift. Later that day he even invited me to an upcoming party of his (which I’ll go to :) via text. I asked him one or two questions trying to keep the convo going. He always replied nicely to them, but never asked anything back. I worries me a bit that he isn’t trying to keep the convo going, now that he’s got my number. If he wanted to get to know me or if he liked me in some way, wouldn’t he initiate the convo too? I would love to suggest getting to know each other more. I could do that at the party. I am just not sure. Should I wait for him to perhaps ask me out one day? I think it’s perfectly fine to make the first move as a girl. I just don’t wanna rush anything. He might only like me as a friend.
Should I ask him out? & should I read into his texting style much, or rather focus on his behaviour in real life? Do you think he likes me?
