+1 ySome men are, some aren’t. It depends on quite a few factors. Not the least of which is cultural… And then, part of it is how well he can handle the blood or it might even be how well he can handle the scent. My wife is from the Caribbean and in their culture, it is still a very taboo topic. So much so that married couples will sleep in entirely different rooms during that time of month. Back in 2015 when my wife and I got married, she ended up getting her period the day after our wedding and she was mortified… She truly didn’t know what to do or how to behave around me. When I asked her to come take a shower with me she initially refused. When I confronted her, letting her know that I knew she just got her period and that it didn’t bother me she finally relented and joined me in the shower. I could tell she was VERY uncomfortable because her social conditioning from childhood taught her that men aren’t supposed to have anything to do with her during that time (there are some Rastafarian men who won’t even talk to a woman if they know she is menstruating). Once she finally emigrated to the USA for us to start our life together, I just did little things to make her feel more comfortable with me knowing. I didn’t say anything about her choosing to sleep on the couch for a week each of the first 9 months or so. But, I did little things to show that she didn’t need to do those things. I went out and bought her tampons and pads for her, I showed her affection and even sexual interest during her period… Things like that. To this day, she is still uneasy about me being involved in her menstruation, but she is beginning to appreciate that I care enough about her to help her overcome her social conditioning.

Not freaked out, but everything that comes out of human hole is kind of "disgusting" in sense. This question is pretty narrow and I do not know what to say more. I have no problem getting you pads or if something happen change the sheets or what ever, but do not be delusional... you do not want to clean vomit right? Same thing, I will do anything to help, but it is not "lovely", natural, but not lovely.

What Guys Said
Some guys are some guys aren't.
I think it has more to do with society not teaching young boys about what a woman goes through during this time.
But if a man ever had to go through the bloating and the cramps.
Do you honestly think they would not have problems as well?
I myself am not freaked out by it but I have seen men that don't understand it and don't try to00 Reply1.4K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. No it's a part of life when a girl is on her period. It reminds me just how badass women are. To be a women you have to be strong and tough. You guys are put through a lot things

+1 yNope not at all.

Had to buy stuff from shops for them
etc
And more but not going over that lol20 ReplyNot freaked at all. More like glad i dont have to go through that. Was a few occasions when i was much younger that i let out a sigh of relief when learning someone i slept with got there period. Lol
10 Reply322 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Depends if the guy has been brought up in a family (I have 4 younger siblings all female) where the discussion about periods have been open and frank, then the guy has no problem.
Those who have no female siblings or where periods are regarded as something to be hidden those guys may not be able to cope with them.00 ReplyNot freaked out, I just steer clear from experience. Girls can be very ill, they can be very sensitive, aggressive, flirtatious, reserved. I grew up with all men and my mother was an alpha so it probably scarred me a little witnessing her mood swings but with other women it just became apparent that the best thing for me was to stay as far away as possible.
00 Reply1K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. It is a natural thing so there are guys who might be. Maybe it is the blood or maybe it is the whole idea of that time of the month. To me, I have no problem talking about it or even having sex during that time. Some guys are just squeamish I guess...

You are aware there are many people in the world who have a fear of blood (hemophobia), right?
It's nothing to do with it being period blood, just blood. I don't suffer from it, but had a friend that did.00 Reply
+1 yImmature guys might be. But mature guys understand that this is a natural process and nothing for the girl to be ashamed of, and there's nothing really "out-freaking" about it.
10 ReplyI never was. Some guys get weird about stuff like that though. Most guys know that menstruation is just part of being a woman.

+1 yI'm certainly not! What would be the point? It's just a part of nature! My ex-fiance used to let me change her tampons for her! It's just blood! It doesn't bite or melt your fingers and touching it won't make your balls drop off!
00 Reply 2.2K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. I freaked out once because she didn't tell me, so when I was pounding her, I pulled my dick out with blood all over the condom, so I thought I had hurt her. When she explained, I was like.. ahhhh, oh well.. and kept going.
10 Reply801 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Not at all I’m not going to eat it when blood is coming out. M dick is a different story. Most women love you but when they’re on their period

+1 yI hope not... periods are perfectly natural. What does freak out guys is the way girls act as their hormone levels go up and down during the month.
00 Reply I wouldn't say "freaked out". They're gross, definitely. So are boogers and earwax and blisters.
00 ReplyI don't really care to be fair me and my wife are always having sex why she is on her period lol x
00 Reply315 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. No, I'm not at all, but there are many guys who are.
00 Reply1.8K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Young men are.. Mature men aren't, it's nature like me sneezing or spitting. It will bleed until it's cleared out...

+1 yAt your age 16 I would say many are, but only because they are not familiar with such. As you get older or get to know an older man you will find that to be less and less of a problem.
00 ReplyNope. In fact, I've sometimes hooked up with women on their period - condoms and a towel beneath her (or having fun in the shower) goes a long way to limit the mess
00 ReplyNo only body fluid that grossed me out are snot and loogies
00 ReplyNo, it's part of natural body process. I'm just grateful guys don't have to suffer them... I know some female friends who really suffer with pain / heavy bleeds. Guys should be supportive girls when they are on their period not freaked out!

+1 yNo more freaked out than any other bodily function or waste product.

+1 yFrom what I hear a lot of em yeah, to me though it's just another normal bodily function, dont see what's wrong with that.
10 ReplyI think its natural and at least for me there is a lot I don't know abiut it so what u assume it is grosses me out probably more than the reality.

+1 ySome of your girls stink like shit during your period! Makes me wanna vomit.
02 Reply- +1 y
Women cannot handle reality. Since so many guys Lie to girls and hoping to get laid when one goes tells the truth. It becomes absolutely unacceptable. What’s unacceptable is that stinky smell all the shit you girls eat you ferment from inside if everyone ate fruits and vegetables the body wouldn’t be dying from the inside.
+1 yA little, but, I'm ok. I dont like blood in general though. So, it doesn't have to be "just the period" that I get freaked out by
