Why do guys call women names after rejection?

Being called fat and ugly because I turn someone down is ridiculous. A min ago they want to get in my pants then I'm ugly? Doesn't that say more about them then it does about me? What goes through your head when your slinging insults? When I wasn't rude or anything I just don't understand.

Because immature men have huge egos and when they like you because you are physically attractive, they will approach you.

Then when you say no, they will just “change their minds” and say, “You’re too ugly for me anyways!” It makes them feel better about themselves.

I don’t think this is talked about enough, that men will just end up calling girls ugly after they reject them, even if the girl is physically attractive.

This is why one must not try to feel insulted if they are called ugly, people call each other ugly all the time, and even good looking people get called this after they reject people they aren’t interested in.

You need a strong backbone to go through life anyways, and its better that if you are able to let those insults go and not want to be near this person again, then you will be fine. Don’t fuel the fire, and just remember this is a defense mechanism and men aren’t taught well enough in society how to properly take rejection.

It's very immature of them, and they shouldn't do that, but since you asked WHY they did it, it's because they felt extremely wounded and emasculated - that you essentially told them that they weren't good enough or man enough - and so they feel very hurt. Them calling you names was their way of trying to hurt you the way you hurt them, by attacking something they think is really going to hurt you. As I said, it's very immature of them to do.

Being rejected is part of the game, and it should be a normal part of a man's life, and he should be able to take a rejection gracefully. Not every guy has the fortitude to do that, though. Some guys are deeply wounded by a rejection.
