I know this guy from when he used to do practices in a previous employment of mine. He used to lock eyes with me back then, although we never really talked. Now, I started to work in another employment where he works too by surprise!
Now we have been working together for about 2 months; I see him about once a week. When I get there, he or I say good morning to each other and he sometimes waves at me while doing so. *We are both in our early 20s*. I started to notice him more, when we worked in a big project together when I first started and he could not stop looking at my eyes. Later on that day, I took my face mask away, untied my hair and he could not stop looking me. Now throughout the day, we see at each others eyes a lot, while talking to each other and while far away too. I have to mention that, while he is talking to others he has a stronger voice and seems more confident but when it is me, he seems to lower and soften his voice and get a little nervous too. When we are talking about work topics, he is fairly ok but when I try to ask about his day, he seems kind of shy and hesitates on what to say. He looks very deeply towards me and I do the same; it feels like we are looking at each others souls and sometimes it is hard to say the right stuff in front of him without forgetting what I was going to say or stumbling on the words. Once in a while, I ask for his help and he quickly leaves everything and helps me. Others don't come right away.
He seems to be in general a little shy, for example he chooses to go the break room in the less busy hours when there is usually no one. He also seems to avoid me sometimes. We usually engage in small talk, nothing too personal but he seems happy to see me, looks at me a lot like no one else in the place, he laughs with me even when nothing is funny, he is very polite... One time, his coworkers were basically singing in the main office with him about how he is single... most of the others are years older and married!
