If you're not the the only one talking for multiple messages over a prolonged period of time, it doesn't matter who's turn it is to talk. Just say something if you feel like saying something unless a reply is wanted.

I’m in a situation where I have been the one who has mostly started almost all of our conversations altough he has responsed everytime and kept our conversation going.

In our last conversation I gave him statement like response and he replied with a statement too (at that point we had talked enough about the subject). He replied to me almost 24h later and I decided to just like his reply.

I was waiting for him to messge and now we haven’t talked almost 2 weeks. by the way we aren’t dating or anything.

I never start any conversation unless I need to ask something.
He might be the same.
I have no ill or negative intent nor does it mean I don't like someone or don't want to talk.
I just don't start conversations.
They might be the same.
Some people think it's bad, but all my friends are used to it and are fine with it.

More often than not, no I wouldn't. Maybe the first time, but after that not really.
Maybe a standard good morning sweety if we're dating. But beyond that they'll be the one to start conversation.
Deep down I always think I'm interrupting people by texting them.
So if they're the ones to message me, I know they expect and have time for my responses.

No I think he was trying to be silly.
I think he might just be like me from the sound of it.
I had a relationship for 6 years and she was always the first to text. That's just how it works with me. It didn't mean I loved her any less.
And it's the same with my friends. It doesn't mean I like them any less and they know that by now.
It doesn't matter how long we haven't spoken, if they send a message they know I'll respond.

Hehe I know how you feel as I am the one who usually confuses people with my actions 😅
As for interest, text replies are not always clear for that. Why not ask if he'd like to go out with you sometime?
Face to face things are much more clear.

I’m nervous to iut right ask him that. He’s replies to me are very decent like one time he sent me 14 lines of text. Also he continues the conversation. Downside is that it takes him often quite long time to reply still less than 24 hours.

The time he takes to reply can have all kinds of factors.

He might be interested, but VERY few guys are going to make a run at a girl unless they know you are interested. Otherwise it's not worth it.

I was chatting with my crush and he was lightly teasing me and being witty.

He was playfully saying that he thinks I have TikTok with this emoji . He knows that I find it cringey the whole app. I said why do you think I have TikTok. Last year I told him that Tiktok should be made illegal. After that conversation I did share funny tiktok videos to my instagram stories which he saw.
Then I did admit to him that I did in fact downloaded it because I was curious apout the app.

Then he was laughing a lot and said that he was just testing me and he got his guess right half right ( he thought that I also post there to which I said is not true”

Then I asked if he has TikTok. Then he said “ no unfortunately, I don’t have it 😂”

Another example:

I told him that I never used to drink coffee and now I drink 3 cups a day.
