Guys, Why does he keep lifting his top in front of me to annoy me?

Hello,

Right I need some advice on what to do! So there is a guy (not dating or ever spoken to) we usually give evils to each other if we make eye contact. Anyhoo the issue here is we go to the same gym and for some reason he is always behind me! So if I’m on a certain machine I can see him behind me in the mirrors! He also keeps lifting his top to flash his stomach and continuously do this as he can see this annoys (he can see my reactions) there are other machines but he’s always behind mines. He has tried to come near me before but I’ve felt uncomfortable and moved away! There other day I was looking at another guy and he started looking at him too which was so awkward. My question is what is his problem with me?

He's like a kid who uses the arm bend and pump motion to get big rig drivers to honk their airhorn. He wants you to mimic his actions and show your abs. Yes, he's being immature, but if you don't respond or acknowledge his actions, he'll eventually stop doing them... at least to you.

Is he seeing a response from you... even a change in your face or body language. People generally stop when they realize there will be no response at all (not negative and not positive).

Yes he sees that I roll my eyes etc and feel uncomfortable.

Your response motivates him to do it again. It's like the school bully in elementary school. People assume he picks on the weakest, but he doesn't pick on the quadriplegic. He picks on those who are most entertaining. If he pushes their buttons and they sing and dance, that gives him power... so he continues. If there is no response after he tries a few times, he'll give up and find someone else to give him power.
