What does it mean when he calls me in email by my first initial D. ?
I always sign as DP. He never do this before.
Thanks
Ah could mean nothing, and you're making a deal out of nothing. Its just easier to say Daniela, then take the time to type it. Or he feels you a working relationship and there's nothing wrong with saying D.
Would it bother you if your boss was a women and she called you "D"?
I am Dave, people have called me "D" and I never thought twice about it.
Surely you're not this naïve?
Never sign using the initials "DP" and he's hinting at that as you never sign off "D" either.
He allways signs with his initials too. It is common in our work.
Possibly a nickname? If you don’t like it, politely ask to be called what you prefer.
I really like it, because with my friends I allways signs as D. and he knows it.
Then good 👍😊
As long as you are comfortable with it.
Thank you for MHG

Just a friendly thing people do, i refer to people by initials sometimes, often in work we use initials to refer to people
Sometimes people are lazy or spelling out your full name keeps coming to a misspell error and he didn't wanna type it fully so he put D instead.
He is just being friendly with you instead of professional
it's easier that writing you full name... saves time
Maybe you signing as "DP" is actually giving him naughty ideas lol🤣
I think I'd go ahead and just spell my name out.
because he gives me signals, he touches me sometimes, he smiles at me, he is mirroring me...
For everybody else I am D., but not for him.
yes, he called me D. and he never called me that before
my coworker thinks the same about the situation, that my boss has crush on me
He’s making it simple
It doesn’t mean that much
Just being informal
Lazy to type?
