I used to talk to this guy who’s my coworker. We hung out and he did everything with me and for me. He would visit me on his days off when I was at work and would constantly make excuses to hang out with me and would constantly text me until 5am in the morning. He was constantly hugging me and giving me kisses and complimenting me, so naturally I thought we were heading towards a relationship.
Then he said we should just be friends and said he lost attraction towards me the first week we started talking and hanging out, which kind of hurt me a lot.
Fast forward, after me crying, we talked it out in my car and he hugged me very close and gave me a kiss on the cheek. He was practically cheek to cheek with me and in my neck.
Okay so now we hang out at work still and he’s still almost always around me. He hangs out with me on his breaks and always wants me to come outside with him or follow him around our store. He’s still always texting me. But he can get mean with me and insult my appearance and then he’ll compliment me and make suggestive comments as a “joke”. He’s always physical with me even if it’s aggressive.
A part of me thinks he’s stupid & doesn’t know I still like him but another part thinks he feels it’s funny to constantly reel me in then make fun of me.
It’s weird because he used to be so nice to me and it’s emotionally draining being around him now because of how he keeps making me confused.
But he won’t leave me alone no matter how much I try to ignore him, even when I don’t initiate conversation or texting. The other day he comes in and lays on my lap in the break room. Just an example of how close & touchy he’ll get.
I sometimes just think he thinks it’s funny to lead me on but then I don’t know why he willingly hangs out with me still? He even came in on his day off to buy 1 thing and asked if I was on lunch so he could hang out with me?
I don’t know; does it sound like he still likes me a little bit or does he sound like he’s just stringing me on?
