do guys tend to do that? And why?

Sounds like he's trying to keep ahead of you by maybe sending u a text first so that way he can at least say he's been texting you... then doing whatever he is doing or maybe "who" he's doing because he then can't or won't have the balls to return your text... hmmmmmm

I’m not with him I just happen to still play a game from before that has me added and he texted me: sends me gifts sometime. So basically is interaction from his part not mine
