so I met this guy we talked and everything seemed good but then the topic of having kids came up, he wanted kids and I did not.. So we had a major clash in that area. So he asked for my number anyways and I texted him and he said he will connect with me at night but he never replied and it has been 2-3 days now...

I'd say he asked for ur number w no intention on following through. If he is ready for kids and u r not its not in his best interest to pursue someone who isn't on the same page. Move on to another interested person.
