Why would a man block a girl on social media?

He unfollowed his ex girlfriends but blocked a girl who was never his girlfriend on social media. He first unfollowed them but then just blocked one of them once he got a girlfriend. Why?

I only block people who annoy me. If an ex wasn't annoying me, I'd see no reason to block.

No she want friends with his ex. Tbh I think his new girl got jealous but why would he block her if she’s want an ex and the other girls he unfollowed were his ex’s but he never even blocked them
