Is it a bad idea to be my exes friends with benefits while he has a girlfriend?

My ex boyfriend (M19) and I (F19) recently broke up due to him cheating but stayed in touch as friends. We got back but this time I was the one unfaithful and talking to other guys as well because I like the attention from them but I love my ex. My ex and I just started talking again (as friends) and he wants us to be friends with benefits although he has a new girlfriend now. He knows I still love him and I don’t know his new girlfriend personally, but I know they share the same interests. We still share nude pics with each other (he asks first n sends) but after seeing what he’s doing I don’t want to get him back and I question myself why I still love him. I’m okay with being friends with benefits with him because I don’t want a relationship or anymore more from him now but I don’t know if it’s a good idea. Do you know why he wants to be friends with benefits although he’s taken? And do you think it’s bad to continue sending each other nudes and sexual favors?

Firstly, thank you for your comment I appreciate it. It is true that I enjoy our current arrangement but I really wouldn’t get back into a relationship with him bc 1) I’m deeply embarrassed and ashamed after him cheating on me and 2) if he can cheat on her with me then I’m pretty sure he’ll cheat on me with someone else if we get back. Whereas for his current relationship, I know the girl deserves better therefore I dont care if they break up or not.
