Well, let's see. From his perspective, he probably just doesn't feel comfortable with you (yet). Not that he doesn't like you or isn't attracted to you. Maybe he is; I don't know. But he's not close enough to you yet to really have feelings. So if you want to develop some sort of bond with him, you have to start slow and work your way towards that gradually.

I mean, don't be afraid to give him hints that you like him. But you have to be less direct at first. (And yes; I know that's the exact opposite of the advice that I usually give to women. But this situation is a bit different, since it's a professional business relationship.)

Now, having said that, you don't have to STAY indirect and vague. Like I said, gradually and eventually work your way closer to him and closer to his heart.
