Hi,
So I went to vacation to see my other side of the family and I have this cousin, and he just keeps staring at me for no reason, really and it is making me quite uncomfortable. Before, he wouldn’t really look at me, but he just started doing it now. I once looked at someone next to him and he just stared at me as I smiled to the person next to him. After I looked away and scanned the room with my eyes, I caught his eyes as he was half smiling and following my eyes, looking at where I am looking at.
My auntie mentioned that I should get married and he just smiled and looked at me. I also said I would be coming back for the summer, and my auntie (his mom) told him that I will be coming back for the summer which was loud since we all gathered as a family. He just looked at his mom and nodded. Kinda ignored her. My aunt asked him what he thought about me, and he just said that I was quiet, really quiet in his opinion. We talked like once and he was avoiding eye contact but was smiling while talking and looking down. He usually tries to involve me to everything, similar to taking care of someone. He teased me once while laughing or whenever I get teased. He usually treats me different than my other cousins.
When leaving at the airport he extended his hand and I held it, then we hugged cheek to cheek which lasted I say about 5 to 7 seconds and told me to take care of myself and I was the last one to let go of his hand since he didn’t. After hugging he went to go hug my other sibling but he still looked back and smiling at me.
He is also married, but is having problems where it’s probably going to lead to a divorce. My cousins say that they don’t like him and that he is pretty mean when you get to know him.
Any advice or tips? Or am I overreacting with these signs?
