For me it's more complicated. A woman can be carrying around some extra weight and still be attractive. A woman can also be too skinny to be attractive. So it's all about being somewhere in a middle ground. Though in general addiction issues tend to make a woman look unattractive in general. Because addiction issues scream I am super unhealthy and have serious issues. Though all of the above can very much be sad of men as well. So I think everyone should shoot for a middle ground that works for them and avoid getting addicted to something.
What's sad is guys like you that think all women need to fatten up. Leave women alone. If they are fat, and they are happy with that, then let it be. Same in reverse. People are simply naturally the way they are sometimes and can't be anything else. Learn to appreciate the woman instead of her body form.

I feel like this is the hardest part for curvy girls like me. I can lose so much weight but im still at a standstill to where I can’t lose more weight. I’m on a calorie deficit and workout almost every day. I’m 5’4 and 144lbs. I’m not able to lose any more weight I already lost 20lbs. I’d love to be thin and desirable but no matter what I do I cannot lose more weight. I’m just happy I’m at a healthy average weight now.
No one wants a mate who is overweight and unhealthy. I'm not sure what your definition of skinny is but I know plenty of men who like fit women with curves (not fat) and fit women who are thin and / or athletic built. All that thick stuff isn't cute. Thick is just another word for fat

By skinny do you mean thin? I doubt most guys like dangerously underweight girls. Just like guys aren't interested in obese girls either. Neither extreme is healthy. Some guys have that preference and find that body type attractive. Just like some guys prefer thick and curvy girls or chubby girls.

I'm not really sure how to phrase this. I'd imagine it would be offensive to those who aren't skinny, but I don't mean it that way. To preface, beauty is subjective. I'm not asserting my opinions or perspectives are factual. But I see skinniness and daintiness to be very, very feminine. It inspires an instinctual desire to protect (and provide for).
They love to feel bigger. I must add here that they like skinny without flatness in my country though unlike the Western countries. You should have some curves (especially big breasts) with a flat tummy. Many men also like bigger women. Anorexic look is hated more than slightly chubby. I think it's mainly white and east Asian men who like too skinny with a flat body.
Let's use an analogy. We like free roaming cats, shile your cat is a home prisoner with owner who finds joy in overfeeding it's pet. You never see obesity in nature, we just like what is healthy. Fat accumulation makes sense in the arctic. Overeating is an addiction, in case you didn't know. But than again some people like heroine addicts too.
The two types I like the most are athletic girls (almost no girls are actually athletic and fit) and skinny petite girls that are so wimpy that many 12 year olds could legitimately beat her up even though she is an adult. I don't care for average builds.
