The larger of the two heads takes control and does a cost/risk/benefit calculation on interaction with females. Women fall on to the negative side of the ledger, so the men stop approaching. Many will reject females when they approach, which females begin to do after age 35.
Such men will say that they are married, or have a girlfriend, or even that they are gay.
I know one man who tells women who approach that he was castrated as part of the treatment for testicular cancer.
That is where the ‘good men’ go.

I don’t think he’s being truthful. It took me a long time to learn this, but guys don’t take very long to know what they want — 2 months tops. If he’s saying it’s too soon to get back together after you’ve already broken up, then I wouldn’t feel like he’s serious. Just dragging his feet to get what he wants from you then leave once he finds the right one.

Exactly, and so many guys do that now it’s exhausting. I’d honestly say not to waste anymore time on this guy, because you shouldn’t have to wait around for anyone to decide if you’re “worth it” or not.
