How do you differentiate between your female friend and girlfriend (Apart from physical affection)?

Are there things that you keep for your girlfriend/partner only and never do it with with your female friends? For example, would you give your female friends this much of freedom to open your wallet or bag in your absence? Would you ask your female friends to hold your personal things like your phone, keys, headphones, handsfree, ID card, etc? Would you do favors of standing in the line of two hours to get a chore done for your female friend? Would you pay for food for your female friend? Would you ask your female friend to let you drop her home on a bike?

What are the things you would only do for your partner or girlfriend and not for a female friend? How do you differentiate? What things do you keep or do specifically for your special one only?

I dont do friends anymore but when i had best guy friends, the most we’d do was wrestle and not in a flirty way. We’d talk on the phone but mainly about our significant others who were usually lurking in the background keeping an eye on the convo anyways. I never went to places like the movies or out to eat with a single guy friend. We’d get takeout or fast food theu a drive through but that was it. I basically treated him like i’d treat a friend girl. Neither got special treatment like i’d give a boyfriend. I also didn't text guy friends all day or after certain hours unless we were groupchatting with others. Basically the dude always knew he was friendzoned. Now i admit, i was guilty of brozoning giys who wanted to be more. in my opinion, its disrespectful to keep around people who wanted to be more than friends if you’re dating someone. But at the time, i thought nothing of it because i literally did not find them attractive and saw them as a blood brother

Okayy... so that reverses my question. You kept limits with your guy friends. Here I am talking about how guys would treat a girlfriend and a (friendzoned) friend! Would he do things like feeding him, putting food in his plate first, paying for food, offering to drop her home, doing her chores to give her relief and asking her to hold personal stuff such as a wallet?

Yea i was doing opposite but im sure a guy could easily change all the pronouns above. Feeding a “friend” is crossing the line unless theyre physically ill. Paying for their food is acceptable only if the other person is broke or forget their money. But denying they pay so that u can pay as if its a date... Nope crossing the line. I've never met friends who do eachothers chores considering we have to go home to do our own lmao. Asking a guy to hold our purse would be like the biggest friendzone ever 😂 We’re basically treating him like a friend girl cause im sure he looks gay holding that shit

I used to wear my guy friends fitted soccer jacket because it gave me a certain shape when i zipped it. All my curves showed. People probably assumed we were a thing because i wore his jacket and he wore my jewelry 😂

Yeah people assume. And he treats me like that. both in private and in public. Even his friends tease us and he does not oppose his guy friends rather looks down and smiles or just stays silent. But sadly we are not in a declared relationship. hehe.

No to the wallet. Yes i can ask them to hold certain things apart from id card. Favours depend on how true of a friend she is and whether she'd go out of her way to help a friend out. If yes then I'd wait in line for her. Sometimes i pay for her food sometimes she covers me, thats rather common in friendship. Pick and drops are also a no big deal.

Dropping a friend of the opposite sex home on a bike is a bit much but walking eachother home is no biggie. Paying for their meal is fine IF THEY DONT HAVE MONEY or if you’re paying for the whole group. But i wouldn't want a friend guy kissing my hand or cheek and i really dont want them holding EVERY door open for me. Its too much. Like yea its a gentleman thing bt to a boyfriend, he’d prob question why the guys doing all these hands on things. We should be racing to the door. Not holding doors open for eachother. Leave the door holding to strangers or whatever guy i date 🤣

Yea he's doing “more than friendship” type things. My guy friends would walk me home if my boyfriend was out of town. He didn't fully trust them although they were his friends too. But i had them walk me to the end of my street or to my yard and went inside. I dont need a guy walking me to the porch unless he's coming in to speak to my mom (in which she treated my friend guys as if they were her blood sons NOT son-in-laws and she’d offer them a plate of food to take home). Riding on his handle bars seems to up close and personal in my opinion but if someones driving then its fine to have them ride passenger in your car. Still, i would not go to a restaurant or movie theater alone with someone im just friends with. Save that for relationships or group outings
