I see a lot of guys complain about women taking there money or having to pay for dates. Then don’t like career driven women because she focused on having a children anyway ( let’s face it they are expensive)

I think it´s the part of her depending on me as a guy is what could be attractive in that scenario to most guys.
But that doesn´t need to be in terms of money, that could also happen in other situations like for example in terms of trust.
I don´t think it would be interested in a gold digger because I don´t like being asked for money with the knowledge I won´t get much in return.

There are men out their who want women to depend on them finically. Though in many cases there also the abusive controlling guys.
A gold digger tho wouldn't stay with someone controlling like that, they find someone who gives them money when they want not a guy who controls the money they have. So there is a major difference there.

I'd prefer a smart, talented, fun driven woman who doesn't want kids.

She can be poor, rich, successful, or stuck in a rut to get started on her dream career, but she has to not have gold digger mentality.

You marry a person, not a life stage.

I don't care what stage of her ladder to success she's at, as long as it leads to the same end goal that my ladder does, so basically she just has to want what I want.

I believe I used the wrong word. As i explained, by grateful, I meant someone who considers us rather than herself (not always, sometimes you deserve to be selfish)

If i were to consider a girl gold digger, i would think of a girl who sees the relationship as transactional and prioritises herself over "us"

The "grateful" woman (or whatever word you think is more apt for my definition), is someone who realises that in a relationship, there is a "us" part and attempts to spend money in such a way which can be beneficial to both. Naturally not always, for instance if she wishes to buy something for herself occasionally, i would be more than happy. It's more about cooperation than transaction

By no means there is a "i am the man so be grateful deal". It's like "i would like you (and me) to be like a team, where we think of each other"

It's the opposite, men rather not throw away money and adore women who can take care of themselves because dependent women are very tiring. But most women only want rich men who pay for them and some men are desperate for sex so they just settle
