Why would a guy still be interested in you when you keep ignoring him harshly?

I ignore him completely to the point where it's borderline rude. I also have said to him that I don't want to talk to him and he's very clingy with me in front of everyone. Still he continues to be interested in me and keeps trying to talk to me. What's up with him?

He has a crush on you. Simple. Unfortunately you don’t feel the same way back. He’s hoping you may have a change of heart. you are his dream girl , he does not see any of girl in the same way he does you. You have made such an impact on him.

But , if you don’t feel the same way. You will have to be kinda rude. And just say “dude you are not my type, I do not like you now in that way and never will so just back off”

Guys think they need to do the pursuing which is correct. They also feel like they need to persuade that they can be trusted which is also correct. But if he has never got any signs of attraction from you or any kinda hints. Then he needs to be told.

For example , If I like a girl I will not back off only if she tells me to. Communication is the key.

Eh when tried to talk to you again tell him to stop talking to you and to leave you alone. And this will be the final time you say this until you speak to a manager/supervisor. Borderline harassment if you told him to leave you alone multiple times and he still hasn’t.
