…Example: Someone's tattoos his girlfriend name on his chest (Left) then when broken up he changed it to something else (Right). That what I do.
Does it matter? Regardless if I did have a tattoo of the person I love, it's only a matter of time before she breaks my heart. So instead of getting it removed, I might as well get the tattoo of my ex girlfriend name into something else like in this picture. It's better than getting it removed. If I have a picture of my girlfriend and she breaks up with me, I'm just going to pay double to just tattoo over my ex girlfriend's face into a whole new picture. Doesn't make sense to pay double for the tattoo than triple just to have it removed.01 Reply

+1 yI would, but would likely be part of a matching tattoo thing with her and only if I was seriously confident the relationship was going to last. I've seen some people get tattoo's on their ring fingers instead of wedding bands, that might be a cool place to have their name instead of wedding rings.

+1 yI have many tattoos and love them but as for name.. he’ll no I agree with others on here. Imagine being in a new relationship and being reminded of their ex.. also why do I wanna see my partner’s name on me all the time even if it works out? Can I not remember their name or what lol

Hell no. Also number one rule of getting a tattoo is NEVER EVER get a tattoo of anything related to the person you are with! Especially their name! Because when you do your relationship will go to shit and you will end up breaking up. Even if you are both in your 60's and have been married for 30+ years.
10 Reply1.7K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. For a girlfriend it’s kind of pushing it but depends on how the relationship is but for a wife yes I would , now if my relationship didn’t last with her I would go get it removed before I started another relationship with someone else out of respect , I don’t think anyone would really
Like to see someone’s ex tatted on them during sex honestly I feel it’s disrespectful00 Reply1.1K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. I made my wife get a tattoo on her forehead that says "Property of Lliam. No trespassing" with an image of a gun. 🤣🤣🤣 jk
As far as I'm concerned getting a name tattooed on your body makes that much sense.
Oh, but it's soooo romantic. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣00 Reply
+1 yNo i would and a lot of good artist will also recommend against it. Relationships can change and someone like a girlfriend/boyfriend name may seem good at the time out be a huge mistake and regret if things dont work out on the future. it would be a waste of money.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yI would never do that, because then I would have to find a girlfriend with that name again and it’s hard enough to get a girlfriend and relationships never last long these days

Opinion Owner+1 yYeah, lol , that would be an interesting to pick a girlfriend up asking what their name is each time and saying oh that won’t due until it matches. I have yet to have been with anyone that had the same yet
+1 yI'd definitely put a tattoo of my girlfriend's name on my body. My girlfriend is the best person and the only person who's constantly there to cheer me up , hold me and lead me to do the right things. She's sacrificed a lot for me and she never complains about it. So the Tattoo could be a small way to thank her and show her what she means to me and that she's the only one for me.
00 Reply4.9K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. No. That's just daring the universe to destroy your relationship so that you look like an idiot. And the VAST majority of the time, that's precisely what happens to people who do that.

Anonymous(18-24)+1 yin my opinion it's trashy and while I am in a long-term relationship that will hopefully last a long time, I don't see the need in permanently putting his name on my body.
00 ReplyI don't have any tattoos and don't want any so I wouldn't.
However if I did a tattoo of anything I'd do something like blood type or useful medical information in case I go to the hospital unconscious.00 Reply
