How come my crush always talks with me in person but doesn't text me too frequently? Is it just a preference?

Some people aren't that interested in texting online. They might not have a lot of people to talk to online in the first place, so they're not looking forward to talking to people online. They could also be busy doing things like studying and doing extracurriculars. If you notice him glued to his phone scrolling on Instagram or wherever you've texted him, he might not be interested in you. I would say to not take it so deep unless you notice him on the platform you texted him on and he's not texting you back. If you don't have any evidence to make any claims, don't waste your energy worrying. :)
