I already reached out to management and plan to tell the labdlord and owner directly too because management seem like wussies.
My other two roommates are not standing up for me either.
Time to move out. You are living with people that do not respect your position. You will become the focus of harassment if you stay.
Deal with it while you find a new place to live.
Legally if the apartment rules say no smoking and the management will not enforce the rule you should be able to leave the lease. You may need to contact a free legal service prior to verify your position. The last thing you need is to be stuck with rent when you don’t live there.
I have felt targeted even if in small ways already before this. Its probably just my lot in life.
Your roommate is lazy and a dick. Sure its her right to smoke and blah blah blah but at least have some considerations for those around you. doesn't she gave a car or somewhere less she can do it or at least have a fan blowing out an open window?
Pretty sure she has a car. Regardless people smoke weed on the street in this city so she could just go outside and do it.
I shouldn't have to worry if i will be bombarded by any smoke small or large in my own dwelling! Just go outside. I dont create health hazards like that even if i had a right. Especially if someone asks you multiple times.
And then the other roommaes who see me complaining and dont help me. I know they dont care about weed smoking but i made it known its a health issue for me and still they can't help me?
Recently i caught her with that smell coming from her open door and i opened the common area window and she closed it minutes later when she came in the room. Total selfish child. People can't think of anyone but themselves for even a moment.

His name is on the lease? If it's yours then have them evicted. Otherwise there's not a hell of a lot you can do
People are so disrespectful and selfish these days
If it's a non-smoking building on the lease she could be evicted.
We all signed together. She is blatantly ignoring my texts as if she's not guilty. Whatever. When i hear back from management and I already told them she is doing this... She can deal with the consequences. O already asked her multiple times to stop.
If she wants to ignore me she can't ignore them!!!
I feel for you mate. I have witnessed a similar case to the one you are facing with my neighbours. At the end of the day how much can you really do. You can get management and the police involved and that will solve your problem now but you will be walking with a target on your back afterwards. You can't even get even because then again same thing, you will be targeted. The only way I can see this is if smoking is prohibited then you can leave an anonymous tip to law enforcement about a citizen complaint or something but because she does it with the windows closed it could be a hazy turn of events
@blackgaletiger i already told management. So hopefully i dont get a target on my back. They dont seem to care either. They want to "talk" to her. Thats not going to do anything.
Who's name on the lease?
All of us signed together. I already told her before signing im not ok with it. I even told management and they said she was just joking about wanting to smoke and wasn't going to.
Well if all your names are on the lease and the others are cool with smoking weed you might be screwed. Sure you can cause a shit storm over it... but all you're going to do piss off all the people you're living with. Like shitting where you eat.
I hate smoking in doors as the next person, and yes I think its barbaric and smells horrible. But your health problems aren't really thier concern. If management does support you all you might achieve is getting them kicked out you without any roommates. Or even you getting forced out... most landlords are only concerned about were next rent check is coming and will turn a blind eye to such things. They'd rather lose the one then all the rest.
I'd lease my own place with only my own name on the lease , then sub lease rooms to others so I could get them evicted if they violate the terms of the lease.
Yes thats what i have asked them to do. I asked that I be released. I told them i am the odd one out. They said i can leave if i find someone to take my place. Thats another job trying to find someone new! I shouldn't have to do all that when this person is breaking the lease and putting my health at risk selfishly. I think management needs to find a new person to live here!!
I work enough as it is, to then have to find a new person and make sure the roommates like them and they have good credit and then renters can be picky and i end up wasting time and having them see the apartment and then they dont want it. All because my roommate can't follow a rule they agreed to
Yep and time and I am poor. Maybe I am wasting my time even telling them about her weed smoking. So far all their solution involves is talking to her. Thats not going to do anything.
I probably should have just left on my own. Oh well I was really stressed out over the smoking so I did what I could think of which is try to me someone to help me. Very little else i could do if she choose to ignore me and the roommates dont help.
try to get someone*
At least i stood up for whats right. she's a drug addict and needs help and someone needs to tell her to stop.
